Penn State defeated Michigan, 42-13. Penn State’s Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley combine with five touchdowns helped to get the big win. Saquon Barkley had 108 rushing yards. Barkley is favored to win the Heisman trophy this year. Penn State last Heisman trophy winner was Micheal Robinson, back in 2005. Penn State’s quarterback, Trace McSorley, stepped up with 282 passing yards and 76 rushing yards.
Michigan was unable to find a rhythm after the 2nd quarter. Michigan scored 13 points in the 2nd quarter but didn’t score again after that. Karan Higdon scored a 1-yard touchdown run for Michigan. Ty Issac scored a 6-yard touchdown run, also.
Penn State will travel to #6 Ohio State Buckeyes next week. The Buckeyes have a 6-1 record. Will Penn State survive the next two weeks? Penn State will face two ranked teams back to back. How long will the winning streak last? Everyone will have to wait and see.
